On May 18, 2019, Groton-Pepperell Rotarians Rob Moore and Steve Janes joined the Groton Business Association and several community members to landscape the back of Boutwell House, home to the Groton Historical Society. Dozens of trees, plants and shrubs were planted. A four-foot wide walkway was also installed that will lead to a beautiful courtyard when complete. The garden will be open to the public and overlooks Gibbet Hill, offering some of the best views in town.

The Groton Pepperell Rotary Club cooked food, sold snacks and snow cones on 8/25/19 We had to feed some hungry soccer players during the tournament! All proceeds will go to funding a brand new school in Adilo, Ethiopia.

We had a great turnout of clothes for the Catie's Closet event. Thank you to all that donated clothes. These clothes/toiletries will help kids in our community look and feel better.

On June 26, Steve Janes was installed as GP's 2018-19 President by District Governor, Steve Sager. The ceremony and reception for Rotarians and guests was held at The Groton Inn.

This was our fifth year of holding this event at the Townsend Ridge Country Club. We were able to raise funds for RYLA, Loaves and Fishes, NM Cares and other community based organizations.

For the second year, The Groton-Pepperell Rotary Club teamed up with the Groton Neighbors organization to help members of the community with their spring clean-ups. On Saturday, May 11, Rotarians, Groton Neighbors members and local high school students tackled six yards, left the properties looking beautiful and the homeowners very happy.
