Hello Fellow GP Rotarians,
We will be hosting our annual Groton Community Dinner at the First Parish Church on Main Street on Friday, June 13 starting at 5:45 PM. The Groton-Pepperell Rotary Club sponsors the event and we need as many volunteers as possible to cook, clean and serve up to120 people. Please invite spouses, partners, colleagues and kids over 15 yrs old, if they'd like to help.
More details and what we need:
- Friday, June 13 at 5:45 PM. Volunteers arrive at 4:30 PM
- First Parish Church, Groton
- I will procure and marinade hanger steak purchased by the Club
- Traditionally, we've secured food from other local organizations and restaurants. Examples: garlic bread from Forge & Vine, potatoes from Lawrence Academy, salad from Filho's, strawberry shortcake from ???. If anyone can help with these items, it would be greatly appreciated
- Centerpieces are a nice touch if anyone has any floral connections
- I will try to book musical entertainment from Groton Hill Music
